Interview with Mary Jonaitis

I have worked with Mary Jonaitis for nearly 24 years. Mary Channels the Entity Group called Michael. I have never seen her in person although I have driven through Santa Fe where she lives and works on more than one occasion. Our very intimate relationship has taken place both on the phone and out somewhere in the vast cosmos.
When my children were just toddlers, our family had a crisis that common sense could not address. I was frustrated and spoke with my therapist at the time about it. She suggested I contact Mary. I was in shock. A Channeler? Of What? Of Who? I was a “Good Christian” back then, who had some pretty archaic ideas about those energies that did not come in human form. But, my mentor and teacher encouraged me to just try speaking to Mary one time. And if my inner compass, my own inner knowing did not resonate so completely with the experience I would simply not do it again. So I threw caution to the wind and now 24 years later it was one of the most important decisions I could have made for myself and my family and continues to be the case.
Not all Channeled information comes thru the “channel” in a clean and clear way. Mary is always a perfect tuned spirit to bring forth understanding and information that makes any persons travels along the path of transformation clearer, fuller, more understandable. Michael offers a map and guidance to allow each of us to evolve to the fullness of what we know and who we are.

MAYA Welcome Mary, I am so happy to be talking to you! I laugh because here I am still asking the questions.
MARY (Laughing) I like the arrangement! And yes, I am so happy to share just a little with you and your readers about some amazing things I am doing both in my creative life but my work with Michael.
MAYA How has channeling Michael changed you Mary?
MARY “ There are probably too many answers for this question…Michael has taught me not to react to what happens in life, but instead to observe it and learn from it, constantly. There isn’t anything that we can’t learn from, no matter how mundane it may seem to be. Also, there is no judgement when you are coming from a compassionate perspective and we are always our own worst critics. Mostly, I have learned that life is a kaleidoscopic opportunity to marvel at the astounding creativity of the unrelenting “will to be”.”
MAYA What is the greatest advantage for someone to do a Michael Reading?
MARY “Michael will always provide another vantage point from which to view your life challenges at this moment….that is liberating and it helps to move the energy of the stuck situation…”
MAYA Could you share just a little about the core teaching of Michael?
MARY

The Michael Teaching is a metaphysical view of creation and the human experience. The Universal Force driving this creation is referred to as the TAO rather than God,in an effort to remove the gender stereotyping of a masculine deity….Michael is a separate, but shared identity. Having existence unto itself, Michael describes itself as an “entity” or “group soul” of 1050 members (individual souls that have completed incarnate learning and have “cycled off” into the causal plane of frequency-existence, and have joined into one mind).
All once human, they have merged together and combined their knowledge, skill and wisdom about how to be a “civilized human”, gained from thousands of human lifetimes. Michael has compassion for us knowing that the human path can be hard. Michael means “truth-teller”; they will always read the energy present and tell the truth as they are able to see it. They gain clarity and philanthropic (good) karma for serving us here on the physical plane.
The core of the teaching is based on them helping us, as “fragments” of the TAO, to understand how we come into each life, with specific “tools”(overleaves), in order to make intended experience (life curriculum), so that we, as individual soul fragments may eventually reach a level of unqualified love, truly comprehending our integral connection to all that is, and finding our way back to the conscious whole in the process…”
MAYA Thank you for that cliff notes version of a complex understanding. And we have limited space here so I will assume people will go to your website to learn more. Now I want to talk about this new business you are in with you daughter? Your fabric is astounding and the photos are wonderful!
MARY “Doing a business with someone in your family is richly rewarding, due to the seamlessness of the teamwork that is possible between people who know each other very well. Ona is a highly trained, skilled designer, who brings a refined technical expertise in addition to her eclectic aesthetic; I am an instinctive artist/designer/maker who works with the immediacy of the moment with whatever materials are at hand…opposite but complementary approaches…It can also be very challenging simply because, with someone who knows you so well, there is no place to hide….it’s so easy for the other person to see when you are not being 100% present that you have to take full responsibility for your behaviors, thoughts, feelings and underlying emotions….just like any intimate relationship!”
MAYA Would you say something about what makes the artistic fabric design and clothing truly unique and what you love the most about this medium?
MARY “The accessories and clothing we make at Onanoko Textile are each unique and hand made from fiber, fabric and yarn, using a wide variety of techniques including wet felting, nuno-felting, knitting, loom knitting, crochet, and sewing. Each piece is created to highlight it’s unique textile quality and to be flattering and comfortable for the wearer. When we make things with our hands, the resulting articles are imbued with a tremendous amount of energy and love. The most exciting aspect of using a wet-felting process to make wool into fabric is that there is an element of accident and surprise involved; the fibers move around and create their own “relationships” with each other in ways that we can’t always completely control or predict….usually with results that are
better than we could have anticipated….just like life!”

Here is a little more about Mary:
Mary Jonaitis, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Mary was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 12, 1954, on a full moon in Aquarius. Mary has identified herself primarily as an artist ever since she can remember. Mary was raised in a strict Catholic household by hard-working, loving parents. She never felt comfortable with the trappings of organized religion, yet she always felt the comfort of “spiritual presence” around her. As a teenager she made an extensive study of world religions and also started to be aware of a psychic awareness in herself that other people apparently did not seem to notice in themselves.
In 1976, when Mary was twenty-two years old, a friend gave her the book, Messages From Michael, by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, saying “you should read this, it sounds like the way you think about things.” Upon being assured by the entity Michael, in the last few pages of the book that “we are a teaching entity, and we are available to anyone who has questions,” Mary, in a typical twenty-two-year-old-Forrest-Gump-sort-of-way, began to ask questions and began to bring Michael’s answers through the Ouji board. This led to referrals by friends, who were practitioners of various healing arts, of their patients and clients to the beautiful process of inquiry that Michael conducts. Mary studied light trance voice channeling with the spiritualist, Robert Dubiel of Chicago, Illinois in the late seventies, early eighties.
Mary’s college degree is in Art Education. She has been a graphic designer, stage and mask designer, painter, printmaker and theater and fine arts teacher. Currently, in addition to the channeling work and doing her own art, Mary teaches art and stagecraft part time at the Santa Fe Waldorf High School. Mary has a beautiful, nineteen year old daughter, Ona Gabrielle Yopack, and a loving partner, Dominique Chevaucher. The family of animals include Sylvie, Zhu Zhu, Mia, Jorge, Inuit and Toko.
